Hare Polish Asteroid Turf!!

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been kind of MIA! School is kicking my butt and my mom had surgery today! But it's all good because I can conquer school and her surgery went well! Anyway, I ordered Hare Asteroid Turf since I loved Magic Mist so much! I knew it was risky because some people think that polish is not a good combo of colors but it is so unique and it turns out I LOVE it! It's unique and so pretty! The colors really compliment each other!! It's a green somewhat opaque base with fuschia glitters! I wanted to save my bottle like usual so I layered it over one coat of a gorgeous green creme polish, Essie Mojito Madness. I've never really been into green but I love it now and it looks pretty with my dark brunette hair and brown eyes!

OMG. I've never seen a polish like this before!

So application was awesome with this. And it looked AMAZING over the Essie! Almost an exact match! I am officially in love with Hare polishes now! I was even lucky enough to grab Bisbee before it sold out on Llarowe yesterday! Wait until you see that one! Here are my swatches, I'll let them do the talking!

Excuse my cuticles, they feel the pain of school as well...

So unique!

Basecoat, one coat of Essie Mojito Madness, one coat of Asteroid Turf, topcoat. :)

These colors are lovely together!

If you don't own any Hare polishes, I HIGHLY suggest you try one because you will fall in love! She sometimes sells them on her Etsy, but is now selling them through Llarowe. Go grab one, you won't regret it! Excellent formula with unique and beautiful colors and they stay on my nails for at least 5 days!! Can't wait to receive Bisbee to show you all!

First Dotticure!!

Hi everyone! The other day I was thinking about how I wanted to start doing more nail art! The first nail art I decided to try was a dotticure, simple and easy with some dotting tools. I bought my dotting tools on eBay for $2 for a pack of 5 pens that are double-sided. I ordered mine from someone in Georgia since I feel uncertain about stuff coming from China. They are metal and easy to clean with some polish remover and are so easy to use! You just dip the little ball into the bottle and dot the polish onto your nail! The dots come in all different sizes so you can do large and small dots!

I wasn't sure what base to use so I decided on a neutral, Essie Topless and Barefoot. Looking back now, I think next time I'll use a light mint base and dot with similar colors. For my dots I used Lime Crime's Once In A Blue Mousse, a robin's egg Tiffany blue; Essie Boxer shorts, a pretty blurple; and Essie Mojito Madness, a gorgeous and bright grass green. I dotted with one color and then once that was dry, I dotted with another color overlapping some of the previous dots. I'm really happy with how my first dotticure turned out!

KBshimmer Oh Splat!

Hi! So I have a serious die-hard love for white based polishes with glitter. I don't know what it is about them, but I just love them so much! So when I saw KBshimmer's new Fall colors, and saw Oh Splat!, I had to have it! KBshimmer is an awesome Indie seller and they also make homemade bath and body stuff! Her description of Oh Splat! says it is supposed to be like a "painter's dropcloth". So cool! I know I have Jawbreaker and Party on My Yacht from Pretty and Polished, but this one is different and it is honestly one of my top 10 all-time favorite polishes! The application was amazing and the finish is so smooth, unlike some other glitter polishes! The white base is really creamy and there is so much glitter, that it looks so awesome sandwiched under a second layer of polish! For my photos I layered two coats of Oh Splat! over one coat of Essie Marshmallow. Then I added one coat of Butter London's topcoat. There is so much glitter that I didn't even have to dig for glitter! Time for pictures!

LOVE IT.

Wondering what the black thing was in my last picture? It's our stray cat, Felix! I say "our" because she is wild but we feed her on a regular basis so she has really warmed up to us and she LOVES our Saint Bernard, Falco! She hangs out with me when I take nail photos! Yes, Felix is a she, she has a baby:)
Sweet girl.

So much glitter!!!!!

Bottle shot!

Look at the layered glitter!! Jelly sandwich in a bottle!

I HIGHLY suggest you go buy this polish for only $8.50 on KBshimmer's website! It is one of my all-time favorites out of all 260 polishes I own!

Mini Nail Mail Haul!

Recently, Zoya was having a BOGO sale for back to school! Buy one, get one free with free shipping when you got six bottles! I had to get some since they had new Fall colors I wanted! I got their two new jellies for Fall, Paloma, which is a jelly berry, and Freida, a jelly teal. I'm reallyyyy excited for these two because I love jelly polishes (sheer, squishy finish) and they are awesome for glitter sandwiches! I also got another new Fall color from their Diva collection called Song, which is the PRETTIEST cobalt blue with shimmer! The other three I got are older colors but gorgeous! Elodie is a creamy warm coral, Yummy is a gorgeous pale sky blue, and Robyn is a super bright sky blue! All together I got six polishes for only $24!! PICTURE TIME!! All pictures are in direct sunlight!

PRETTIES!

They're frosted glass with unicorns on them! I got three: Peaches <3 Cream, a gorgeous almost neon peach that is super unique; Lavendairy, a gorgeous lavender; and Pastelchio, a pastel yet neon-ish lime green.

Super cute boxes!

First Ever Glitter Gradient!

Happy Labor Day! Last night I decided I wanted to use a blue polish for today and I recently got two new Essie polishes that I wanted to try a glitter gradient with, Boxer Shorts and Stroke of Brilliance! I saw Boxer Shorts in Essie's Fall Yogaga collection but we never got this collection at Ulta so I looked for it at Walgreens. When I went to pick up some Sinful Colors polishes for $.99 the other day I forgot to look for it, but I saw the display! I went to two other Walgreens and they didn't have it so I went back to my original Walgreens and they had ONE LEFT! The really sweet lady at the register also let me use dollar off coupons for it and Stroke of Brilliance, which is Essie's newest luxeeffects color!

Essie Boxer Shorts and Stroke of Brilliance

Something I like about Essies from Walgreens, they have the name of the color on top! The name is on the bottom of the ones at Ulta.

Sorry for the shady pictures, it's raining here today! Anyway, I was so happy to get Boxer Shorts because it is a really unique color to my collection. It is described by Essie as a blue, but it's not a blue, and it's not a purple. It's a blurple! Kind of a periwinkle color as well! So pretty and the application was very creamy and smooth! The formula was perfect! Stroke of Brilliance is a very pretty and unique deeper blue glitter with small and larger glitters. These two colors look like they were meant for each other so I decided to try my first glitter gradient with them! A glitter gradient is when you use any base color and only cover part of your nail with glitter, like the glitter is fading into the color. Really pretty and I believe my first attempt was a success!

Love this!

I applied a coat of Glitter Food over the glitter so it looks like it is under glass and is really smooth!

Made for each other!:)

I love this manicure so much and it was so fast and easy to do! Just wait until your base color is dry and then add the glitter from the tip of your nail downwards. I applied one coat of Glitter Food by nail Pattern Boldness over the glitter and then finished it off with Butter London's topcoat. Below I added some comparison shots of other colors I have to Boxer Shorts. None of them were the same, even if they look close they were all different!

Essie Play Date and Boxer Shorts.

Zoya Yummy and Essie Boxer Shorts.

Essie Bikini So Teeny and Boxer Shorts.

Essie She's Picture Perfect and Boxer Shorts. This one looks really close in the picture but She's Picture Perfect is way more purple with some pink in it.

Have a great Labor Day!
